Almost everyone hates traveling, but the 5-star bed set-ups make it almost bearable! After staying in a hotel you can’t wait to get home, but too often your own bed disappoints compared to the swanky one you just slept in. Why not follow a few steps to make your bed look and feel like your favorite 5-star hotel bed?
Step one: ALL WHITE. Stick to predominantly all white- bedding. It’s easier to clean – say hello to bleach, it will be your new best friend. Not only does white bedding look and feel crisp and clean, it also creates a cloud-like heaven.
Step two: Perfect pillow mix. Mixing up the pillow texture and firmness is important. You will want feather allergy pillows, 2-4 down pillows, and 2-fiber fill pillows. Euro shams are also common but not important.
Step three: Bedding heaven. We covered the pillows, now let’s talk bedding. For the hotel-bedding-feel in your own home, the fluffier the better! You can never go wrong with an extra fluffy comforter. If the fluffiest comforter you can find isn’t fluffy enough, add a feather bed!
Step four: Ditch the fitted sheet. Use the flat sheet, tuck it all around, this way it makes making the bed 10 times easier. Thread count also makes a difference. 300- thread count , Egyptian cotton, keeps you stay cool because it’s breathable!
