MBB Management took an inaugural trip to central Florida for a few days of relaxation, team building and hands-on learning. Relaxation and team building went hand in hand when an unnamed team member was injured while boating. As MBB cruised down the Intracoastal in Boca Raton, everyone made sure to take in the beautiful views while simultaneously practicing first aid skills. Not one to complain, the unnamed team member carried on like nothing was wrong.
Hands on learning took place at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. MBB Management was taken on a behind-the-scenes tour which included a chocolate taste-test, views of spotless kitchens and a look into the workings of the famous hotel. If you’re ever in Miami Beach, make sure you stop by the bar inside the main lobby – the drinks are superb and the bartenders put on a great show.
The MBB team was treated to an unforgettable dinner by Steve Martorano at the famed Cafe Martorano in Ft. Lauderdale. MBB sampled a range of items from the menu in a family style way. The meatballs and homemade mozzarella are worth a visit alone, although nothing on the menu disappoints. It is impossible to leave Cafe Martorano hungry and without a smile on your face.
MBB came back to the New Jersey ready to work on exciting projects. This trip won’t soon be forgotten and surely some team members are already planning their next visit.
